Ickleton Allotment Association

At one time the village had three separate allotment areas, the last one, was in Brookhampton street until the land was finally built upon in the 1980's

This seemed a pity and following discussions with the Parish Council, an area of land was found and made available -  perhaps heralding the start of a new golden age of vegetable growing in the village!

The Allotment Association was formed in May 2008.

The Allotments

We are located at the edge of the village on Coploe Road just before the motorway bridge. We have approximately 1.565 hectares/3.87 acres of ex-agricultural land kindly made available by Lewis Duke. The site includes a car parking area, a communal shed and room for some 40 plots of 250 m2. We have now laid out and allocated 35 plots, and will commission the remainder as and when demand dictates.

The current plot layout plan can be viewed here.
