Social Club 2023

The Social Club building was originally a barn and part of the farm at Norman Hall. Norman Hall had ceased to be a farm by 1867 and when the house and land were sold, probably in 1911, it seems the barn was bought by Mr and Mrs Bowen who fitted it out as a meeting room for the local Conservative Club. They probably donated the building to the Club. There was a grand opening in May 1912. It now belongs to and is used by the Ickleton Social Club.
