Searching for Ickleton Priory April-August 2016 and 2019
With the kind permission of Lewis Duke, the Ickleton Society arranged for local Archaeological Rheesearch Group to undertake geophysical surveys at Abbey Farm in the hope of finding evidence of Ickleton Priory. They used magnetometry and resistivity techniques and the survey showed some underground remains but, without further investigation, it is not possible to say whether or not these were part of the Priory. The results are included here for completeness but are filed in the archives as part of D1195.
